The Atlas Sound AT100-PARM is a rack-mounted auto transformer attenuator rated at 100 watts for use in 25V and 70.7V distributed audio systems. It features a priority relay that bypasses the attenuator to deliver uninterrupted full-volume paging signals regardless of the current volume setting. With ten attenuation steps in 3 dB increments plus a positive off position, it gives system operators precise control over zone volume from within the equipment rack. UL listed to 813 and 2043.

Product Description

The AT100-PARM uses a high-quality auto transformer design to achieve excellent frequency response and low insertion loss—characteristics important in 70V commercial audio systems where multiple attenuators may be in the signal chain. Attenuation is accomplished using ten make-before-break switching steps, which prevents signal interruption during adjustment. Silver-plated contacts ensure noise-free operation over years of use. The priority relay is activated by a 24 VDC signal at 10 mA, bypassing the attenuator to deliver the full source signal—critical for emergency paging and evacuation announcements where zone volume must not be attenuated by operator settings. A removable terminal block simplifies field wiring and replacement. The unit includes a matte black polycarbonate dial scale overlay with adhesive backing, a skirted black knob, and screen-printed dial markings for easy volume identification. The AT100-PARM is designed to mount onto blank panels in standard equipment cabinets, making it suitable for head-end racks in commercial audio installations.
