Product Description

The APC-30T is a high-power compression driver horn speaker with an extended low-frequency response and a wide-angle molded plastic bell engineered to maximize horizontal sound dispersion. The compression driver delivers superior voice and tone signaling, making this unit appropriate for mass notification, general paging, and background music applications in both indoor and outdoor settings. The weather-resistant construction combines metal and ABS plastic components, with metal parts finished in grey baked epoxy to resist corrosion in outdoor deployments. The integrated 3-way transformer supports 25V, 70.7V, and 100V distributed audio systems, with a 7-position Vari-Tap selector that allows screwdriver-adjustable wattage settings from 2 to 30 watts. A 45-ohm tap is also included for intercom and talk-back compatibility. The Vari-Tap Connect Center terminal features a protective cover with built-in strain relief, reducing installation time and improving long-term reliability. The Omni-Purpose mounting bracket is included on all models and supports single-adjustment positioning in both vertical and horizontal planes, as well as strap-mounting to I-beams or pillars. With a dispersion angle of 70° x 95°, the APC-30T provides broad coverage suited to wide areas where even distribution of voice or tone signals is required.
