Product Description

The AP-S15LA addresses two of the most common causes of AV equipment damage: AC line noise and voltage transients. RFI filtering eliminates Radio Frequency Interference from nearby wireless transmitters and broadcast equipment, while EMI filtering suppresses noise generated by electric motors, switching power supplies, and other inductive loads sharing the same electrical circuit. The spike suppression circuitry responds within a nanosecond and sustains suppression for up to 2 milliseconds, with a 200-joule surge energy rating—adequate protection for commercial AV environments. Nine total outlets cover most rack configurations: seven switched rear-panel outlets for connected gear, one unswitched rear-panel outlet for devices that must remain powered during system shutdown, and one unswitched front-panel convenience outlet for temporary equipment connections. The 15A circuit breaker protects the entire distribution chain from overload. Three front-panel LED indicators display power status, surge protection status, and AC ground integrity, giving installers immediate visual confirmation of the unit's protective state. The front-panel dimmable pull-out lamp illuminates rack interiors for cable management and service work.
