The Atlas Sound AP-S15HR is a 15-amp half-width rack power conditioner designed for AV equipment protection in commercial installations. Purpose-built for Atlas half-width equipment racks, it delivers AC power distribution with RFI noise filtering, surge suppression, and six outlets in a compact 1RU, 8.9-inch-wide chassis. It is an ideal power management solution for AV integrators, IT closets, small rack deployments, and distributed audio systems.

Product Description

The AP-S15HR meets or exceeds standard installation requirements for AC power distribution and equipment power protection in rack-based AV systems. Its half-width design accepts optional rack ears for mounting in standard 19-inch equipment racks via the optional PA702-RMK kit, allowing it to be installed alongside compatible Atlas half-width products such as the DPA-102PM, PA40G/PA60G, or MA40G/MA60G in a single 1RU space. The unit features RFI noise filtering that attenuates radio frequency interference commonly introduced on AC lines by nearby transmitters or wireless equipment — a benefit that shows up as reduced static and cleaner video on downstream equipment. A removable 12-foot IEC power cord with retainer bracket is supplied, allowing the installer to select the appropriate cord length for the installation. Six AC outlets are provided, along with a circuit breaker rated at 15 amps, spike suppression, and an earth ground fault connection indicator. A power switch cover protects against accidental shutoff. Operating voltage is 102–132VAC, and the unit carries a UL Listed safety certification. The AP-S15HR is warranted for 60 months from date of purchase.
