Product Description
The AP-30TC uses a double re-entrant acoustic design to maximize audio conversion efficiency and intelligibility at 30 watts of continuous power handling. Its frequency response from 300 Hz to 12 kHz covers the critical range for voice and tone signaling, and 108 dB sensitivity ensures strong SPL output even on long distributed runs. The integral transformer uses AtlasIED's exclusive Vari-Tap Connect Center, a 7-position watts/impedance selection switch that is screwdriver-adjustable and covered by a protective strain-relief plate — reducing installation time and protecting against accidental tap changes post-installation. The transformer supports 25V, 70.7V, and 100V line operation, covering all common distributed audio voltage standards. An omni-purpose mounting bracket is included on all models, enabling precise vertical and horizontal positioning with a single adjustment. The bracket accommodates conventional surface mounting and strap-mounting to I-beams or pillars. Metal and ABS plastic construction with beige epoxy finish (the “C” suffix designates beige). The AP-30TC operates from -40°C to 70°C, making it suitable for unheated or outdoor-adjacent industrial environments. It is manufactured in the U.S. for consistent quality control. The 60-month warranty is standard for the AP Series.
