The Atlas Sound AP-15T is a double re-entrant horn loudspeaker rated at 15 watts continuous with a factory-installed multi-voltage transformer supporting 25V, 70.7V, and 100V distributed audio systems. Designed for indoor and outdoor public address, paging, and emergency notification applications, the AP-15T delivers 106 dB sensitivity and a 70° dispersion pattern with superior voice intelligibility across a 400 Hz to 14 kHz frequency range. It is manufactured in the United States and carries IP34 environmental certification.
Product Description
The AP-15T operates at transformer taps of 1, 2, 3.8, 7.5, and 15 watts at 70.7V, providing the flexibility to balance coverage and zone power consumption in large distributed audio systems. The double re-entrant horn design delivers 120 dB sensitivity at rated power, combining high efficiency with compact physical dimensions of 8 3/4" H x 7 7/8" W x 9 5/16" D. The Omni-Purpose mounting bracket supplied on all AP series models allows precise positioning in vertical and horizontal planes with a single adjustment, and includes provisions for installation on conventional wall or ceiling surfaces as well as strap mounting to I-beams or structural pillars. Weather-resistant construction uses metal and ABS plastic components with grey epoxy-finished metal parts, rated for operation from -40°C to +70°C. The trademarked squared-bell design is a recognized quality indicator in the commercial AV and life safety markets. The AP-15T is US-made, IP34 rated, and backed by a 60-month warranty. A conduit/cable plate adapter (BX-2A) is also available for conduit-fed cable entry.
