The Atlas Sound AP-15 is a 15-watt, 8-ohm double re-entrant horn loudspeaker designed for indoor and outdoor voice and tone paging applications. Delivering 106dB sensitivity and a 400Hz–14kHz frequency response, it provides the intelligibility and output efficiency required for general paging, emergency notification, and signal distribution in commercial, industrial, and institutional settings. U.S.-made with weather-resistant metal and ABS plastic construction finished in grey epoxy.
Product Description
The AP-15 is a double re-entrant horn speaker that combines 15 watts continuous power handling with high acoustic output efficiency, making it effective in high-ambient-noise environments where maximum voice intelligibility is critical. The 70° dispersion angle provides focused coverage suited for corridors, loading docks, warehouses, parking structures, outdoor grounds, and large indoor spaces. Sensitivity is 106dB, and the operating temperature range spans −40°C to 70°C, qualifying it for extreme-environment deployment. AtlasIED’s trademarked squared-bell design is a recognized indicator of quality and durability across commercial paging installations. The included Omni-Purpose mounting bracket enables precise vertical and horizontal positioning with a single adjustment and provides mounting provisions for conventional flat surfaces as well as strap mounting on I-beams or pillars. Metal components are finished in grey epoxy for corrosion resistance. An optional conduit/cable adapter plate (BX-2A) is available. For installations with amplifiers that pass low-frequency content, the TSD-HF11 high-frequency protection unit is available to protect the compression driver. Warranted for 60 months from purchase.
