By placing the A-BT at the optimal location for Bluetooth wireless coverage — independent of the AZM processor’s physical location — integrators can deliver convenient wireless audio input to boardrooms, conference rooms, retail spaces, and hospitality environments. Product Description
The A-BT-US connects to the AtlasIED Atmosphere AZM audio processor’s accessory bus, which supports up to 8 devices per accessory port with reliable audio and data transmission over runs up to 1000 feet per port. Once connected, the AZM automatically detects the A-BT and dynamically assigns appropriate audio settings — including makeup gain, EQ, and auto gain control — to that input channel. No manual DSP configuration is required. The accessory bus also carries digital audio return from the host processor. The A-BT accepts stereo or mono Bluetooth source audio; stereo sources are summed to a mono signal before transmission to the AZM. NFC pairing is supported for fast initial device pairing. The front panel includes a local pair/unpair button and pairing indication LED. The broadcast name (SSID) is user-configurable. Each A-BT input can be configured to trigger high-priority notifications in the Atmosphere system. Note: The A-BT is not currently compatible with ChromeOS devices. The device is available in white (A-BT / A-BT-US) and black (A-BT-B) variants and includes a screwless Decora-style wall plate. It is daisy-chainable with other Atmosphere accessories. A 36-month warranty applies.
