The Atlas Sound 96-8-10 is a cost-efficient cylindrical flanged back enclosure for 8" loudspeakers with a 10" internal depth and acoustic fiberglass lining. Product Description

The 96-8-10 is part of AtlasIED's 96 Series of cylindrical protective enclosures, which are engineered for professional sound system installations requiring durable, acoustically treated back cans. The welded cold-rolled steel (CRS) body is undercoated and lined with patch-jute material to eliminate mechanical and acoustical resonances that could compromise system audio quality. The 10" internal depth provides greater internal volume than shallower alternatives, which improves the acoustic loading on the 8" driver and extends the effective low-frequency response for fuller, richer bass reproduction. The flanged round design allows the enclosure to be positioned in standard round ceiling cutouts, with the flange providing a positive stop against the ceiling surface. The unit accepts an extensive range of AtlasIED 8" baffles, including standard and U-series options such as 51-8, 60-8, 61-8, 62-8, 63-8, 67-8, 68-8W, 170-8, G22-8, M222, P900, VP-60R, U51-8, U61-8W, U62-8, UG22-8, and UM222W.
