The 571 is a programmable touchscreen digital communication station for initiating audio paging and messages with GLOBALCOM Series Announcement Control Systems, available as the 571C (CobraNet) or 571D (Dante).
How does the Atlas Sound 571 Mic Station work?
The 7-inch capacitive touchscreen guides the user through making a page, paired with a handheld omnidirectional microphone that eliminates the boomy proximity effect of close-talk use. Template screens are created with GCK software for paging or triggering prerecorded messages, and access can be restricted with a 4-digit PIN, with different templates shown depending on the PIN entered. The 571 also supports AtlasIED's FAS (Flight Announcement System) GCK plugin, loading boarding, flight-status, and gate-update templates restricted by gate, airline, and/or PIN login — built specifically for transportation and airport paging. Redundant PoE power can be supplemented with an optional 24/48V DC auxiliary connection for non-PoE switches, and the unit mounts via the 571MK-DT (desktop), 571MK-S (surface), or 571MK-F (flush) kits, sold separately.
