Product Description
The 164-12A features an attractive beveled-edge steel baffle with a square speaker cutout sized for 12-inch drivers. The 16-inch square panel fits standard ceiling grid openings and provides a clean, finished appearance suitable for corporate, retail, hospitality, and educational environments. A separate speaker mounting plate is included, which acoustically isolates the loudspeaker from the baffle and provides an extended, leak-free bass response—an important characteristic for background music and paging systems where audio quality matters in open spaces. Large perforations in the protective screen allow the baffle to be repainted easily when interior decor changes, reducing the need for replacement. The textured white epoxy finish resists chipping and blends with standard white ceiling tiles. The unit ships with a black speaker subplate that contrasts with the white baffle for a professional aesthetic. BAA/TAA compliant for government procurement. An optional Hyfidrophobic treatment is available for moisture-prone environments. A 60-month warranty is included.
