Product Description

The MS-12CE uses 5/8-inch and 7/8-inch cold-rolled steel tubing that telescopes to span the full 35-to-63-inch height range, with a standard 5/8-inch 27-thread termination at the top for compatibility with all standard microphone clips and adapters. The Atlas three-piece wearproof clutch is the defining mechanical feature of the MS-12CE: it provides positive locking control that resists slipping under the weight of heavy microphones and stays functional through repeated height adjustments typical of stage and rental applications. Top and bottom lock-nut rings are included for secure positioning at any height within the adjustment range. The 10-inch die-cast iron base uses edge-concentrated weight distribution to maximize stability without enlarging the footprint, and three rubber pads on the underside protect floor surfaces and absorb shock during use. The ebony epoxy finish is applied over the entire stand including the base, providing a non-reflective surface that blends into dark stage environments and resists the wear associated with frequent setup and breakdown cycles. All parts on the MS-12CE are field serviceable, allowing clutches, tubes, and base assemblies to be replaced individually rather than requiring full stand replacement.
