The WR-5 provides distributed level and source control at the user location for commercial AV systems using Ashly amplifiers and processors, enabling non-technical end users to adjust input/output gain, mute channels, select zone sources, and trigger logic outputs from a wall-mounted control point.
Product Description
The Ashly WR-5 serial wall remote connects to compatible Ashly amplifiers and processors using a 4-wire serial data cable, fitting standard North American wall boxes with a Decora-style faceplate. The WR-5 is programmable, allowing the installer to configure which parameters each control element adjusts—input gain, matrix mix gain, output gain, channel mute, zone source selection, or logic high/low output. Visual indicators on the remote verify that changes have been registered, providing confirmation feedback for the user. Because all programming is done at the Ashly product side, the WR-5 can be assigned to different functions in different zones without requiring different hardware. One WR-5 is required per controlled zone. A low-gauge 4-wire cable run from the WR-5 to the amplifier or processor provides both signal and power for the remote. The RPS-18 in-line power booster is available for long cable runs.
