Product Overview
The Ashly PEMA 4125.70D is a 4-channel, 125W-per-channel Protea-Equipped Media Amplifier configured for 70V constant-voltage distributed audio, with a factory-installed OPDante option card for direct Dante audio network connectivity. As a complete one-box solution for smaller commercial AV installations, the PEMA 4125.70D integrates a full 8x8 Protea DSP audio processor, 8 built-in microphone preamps, and a Class-D amplifier in a single 2U rack-mount unit. The 500W total output power at 70V is suited for conference rooms, training rooms, and multi-purpose spaces where moderate speaker coverage requires fewer or smaller 70V distributed speakers. With 32-bit SHARC DSP, FIR filter capability, automatic feedback suppression, and a real-time clock with event scheduler, the PEMA 4125.70D handles complete audio system management for commercial spaces.
Product Description
The PEMA 4125.70D uses the same Protea-Equipped Media Amplifier platform as larger PEMA models but provides 125W per channel into 70V speaker systems, making it the right choice for commercial spaces where 70V distributed audio coverage is needed at more moderate power levels. The factory-installed OPDante option card connects the amplifier directly to a Dante audio network, receiving digital audio from any Dante-enabled source without analog cabling between equipment locations. All eight inputs are software-selectable for microphone or line level, with built-in preamps supporting direct condenser and dynamic microphone connections. The full Protea DSP suite on the 32-bit SHARC processor provides FIR filter capability, dynamics, equalization, crossover, delay, and metering, with hot-plug DSP placement allowing changes to the processing chain without interrupting live audio. A dedicated first-channel option allows transformer-isolated TEL-PBX level input for telephone paging integration. Eight pairs of summed-mono RCA inputs provide connections for consumer line-level sources. The real-time clock with event scheduler enables automated daily operation including scheduled preset changes and standby commands. Automatic DHCP network configuration reduces network setup time, and lockable front panel controls with multi-level software security prevent unauthorized adjustments. The unit is built in the United States and carries RoHS and cTUVus certifications.
