The AMX PR-01-RX is the designated HDBaseT receiver and scaler for the AMX Precis 8x8 HDMI Matrix Switcher (PR-01-0808), providing built-in video scaling, network pass-through, and RS-232 at the display endpoint over Cat cable up to 100 m. Designed as an end-point companion to the PR-01-0808, the PR-01-RX simplifies commercial AV installations by delivering scaled 4K60 video to displays without separate scalers or control cable runs at the remote location.
Product Description
The AMX PR-01-RX receives switched 4K60 HDMI video, embedded audio, and control signals from the PR-01-0808 matrix switcher over HDBaseT Cat cable at distances up to 100 m. Integrated video scaling ensures each connected display receives the correct resolution regardless of source input, reducing compatibility issues in multi-display commercial environments. Network pass-through delivers Ethernet connectivity to the display location over the same Cat cable. RS-232 serial control at the receiver enables direct communication with the connected display or other serial-controlled devices without additional wiring.
