AMX NMX-WP-N2410 – N2400 Series 4K60 4:4:4 Windowing Processor (4x1)
Product Overview
The AMX NMX-WP-N2410 is a 1RU rack-mount 4x1 windowing processor for the N2400 Series AV over IP platform, enabling up to four UHD video streams to be simultaneously displayed, cropped, scaled, and positioned on a single 4K60 4:4:4 output stream over a standard 1G IP network. Designed for command centers, control rooms, broadcast monitoring environments, and enterprise digital signage, the NMX-WP-N2410 redefines multi-window AV distribution by eliminating dedicated video wall controllers in favor of flexible, software-defined window layouts delivered over IP. Multiple processors can be stacked to scale windowing capacity to 7x1, 10x1, 13x1, 16x1, or beyond, providing scalable video wall and multi-view infrastructure without proprietary hardware constraints.
Product Description
The NMX-WP-N2410 (FGN2410) connects directly to an N2400 Series AVoIP network and accepts up to four video streams from N2400 Series encoders over Ethernet, combining them into a single composited output streamed to one or more N2400 Series decoders at resolutions up to 4K60 4:4:4. Each of the four input windows can be independently cropped, scaled, and positioned using stored presets — including quad, picture-in-picture, 3+1, or any user-defined layout — giving operators full control over content arrangement without custom programming. The processor supports a wide input resolution range from 640x480p up to 4096x2160 per source, and outputs to most common UHD resolutions up to 4096x2160 for compatibility with standard commercial displays and video walls. Its IP-based architecture allows flexible deployment across distributed facilities, with additional windowing processors stackable for higher source counts. The NMX-WP-N2410 is managed through AMX's N-Able control software and integrates with AMX NetLinx and MUSE control systems for automated preset recall and operator-driven layout switching. Front-panel LEDs provide real-time power, status, and diagnostic feedback for streamlined installation and ongoing maintenance.
Key Features
- 4x1 Multi-Window Compositing at 4K60 4:4:4: Combines up to four N2400 Series IP video streams into a single UHD output at 4K60 4:4:4 for high-quality multi-source display.
- Independent Window Positioning and Scaling: Each input can be independently cropped, scaled, and positioned per stored preset or user-defined layout — no programming required for standard layouts.
- Stackable for Higher Source Counts: Multiple NMX-WP-N2410 units can be stacked to create 7x1, 10x1, 13x1, 16x1, or larger windowing configurations on a single output.
- N2400 Series AVoIP Integration: Native integration with N2400 Series encoders and decoders over standard 1G Ethernet — no dedicated coax or fiber infrastructure required.
- Wide Input Resolution Support: Accepts sources from 640x480p up to 4096x2160 per input, accommodating mixed-resolution source environments.
- Preset-Based Layout Management: Supports stored presets for common layouts (quad, PIP, 3+1, etc.) for rapid operator-controlled switching via AMX control systems.
- N-Able and NetLinx Integration: Managed through AMX N-Able software and integrated with NetLinx and MUSE controllers for centralized system management and automation.
- 1RU Rack-Mount Form Factor: Compact, rack-mountable design fits standard 19-inch rack enclosures for clean, organized equipment room installation.
- Gigabit Ethernet Connectivity: Auto-sensing 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 interface for reliable connection to standard network infrastructure.
Typical Applications
- Government Command Centers: Multi-source monitoring and situational awareness displays combining multiple IP video feeds into a single composited UHD output.
- Boardroom: Executive multi-source presentation environments displaying content from multiple systems simultaneously on a single large display or video wall.
- Conference Room: Multi-window display of collaboration sources, video conferencing feeds, and data content on a shared display.
- Broadcast Studios: Multi-feed monitoring and on-screen compositing for live production and broadcast engineering environments.
- Training Rooms: Flexible multi-source display configurations for instructor-led or self-directed training with multiple content streams visible simultaneously.
