The EPICADGX288-VIO-MMF-S (FG1055-521) installs into the Epica DGX 288 Enclosure and provides 16 simplex multimode fiber connections per board — each port serving as both an input and an output — for a full 16x16 routing matrix per slot. The board supports OM3 50/125 mm multimode fiber at distances up to 984 ft. (300 m), making it the right choice for intra-building AV distribution within large commercial, government, or broadcast facilities. Up to 18 MMF-S or mixed boards (combined with SMF-S) can be installed in the Epica DGX 288 chassis for configurations up to 288x288. Uncompressed video with HDCP and embedded audio is transported over fiber with zero compression or latency, and audio support includes Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital, DTS-HD Master Audio, DTS, and multi-channel L-PCM. Compatible DXLink Fiber Receivers feature SmartScale Technology that automatically reads each display's EDID and adjusts the output resolution to match, eliminating signal incompatibilities in multi-display environments.
