The AMX NMX-ENC-N1122A is an N1000 Series stand-alone AV-over-IP encoder with PoE and AES67 audio support — capturing HDMI video and audio and encoding it for distribution over a standard Gigabit Ethernet network as part of the SVSI AV-over-IP system. It is suited for university, corporate campus, and enterprise AV-over-IP distribution where scalable IP video encoding across many rooms is required.
Product Description
The AMX NMX-ENC-N1122A N1000 AV-over-IP encoder accepts an HDMI input and encodes the signal for distribution over standard 1Gbps Ethernet infrastructure using the SVSI encoding protocol with AES67 audio support for interoperability with Dante and AES67 audio networks. As a PoE-powered stand-alone AV-over-IP encoder for enterprise video distribution, it deploys at any network endpoint where an HDMI source — laptop, media player, camera, or display output — needs to be distributed across the IP network to any number of NMX decoder endpoints simultaneously. The stand-alone form factor (SA) includes its own housing; the card version (NMX-ENC-N1122A-C) installs into a rack-mount NMX-ACC-N9206 carrier chassis for high-density deployments.
