AMX DXFP-RX-4K60 – DXLink 4K60 HDMI Fiber Receiver
Product Overview
The AMX DXFP-RX-4K60 is a DXLink 4K60 HDMI fiber receiver supporting HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 for 4K60 4:4:4 signal reception, HDR10, 36-bit Deep Color, USB 2.0 extension, and full control and Ethernet transport over duplex fiber from a paired DXLink 4K60 Fiber Transmitter or compatible Enova DGX output card at distances up to 300 m. Designed for commercial AV environments requiring secure, long-distance 4K signal distribution to individual displays, the DXFP-RX-4K60 ships with a multimode duplex (MMD) SFP that can be field-replaced with a single-mode duplex (SMD) SFP for longer runs, providing flexibility across a wide range of AV infrastructure configurations.
Product Description
The AMX DXFP-RX-4K60 receives 4K60 4:4:4 HDMI video, embedded audio, bidirectional control, USB 2.0, and Ethernet over duplex fiber from AMX DXLink 4K60 Fiber Transmitters (DXFP-TX-4K60) or compatible Enova DGX DXLink 4K60 Fiber output boards (DGX-O-DXF-4K60), with the included MMD SFP supporting runs up to 300 m on OM3 multimode fiber. Fiber transport provides inherent electrical isolation and immunity to electromagnetic interference, making it the preferred choice for mission-critical, government, broadcast, and secure commercial AV installations where copper-based transport introduces noise or security concerns. HDR10 and 36-bit Deep Color support ensures full compatibility with premium content and displays, and USB 2.0 HID and high-speed USB extension supports webcams, USB storage, and other USB devices point-to-point between transmitter and receiver without separate USB over IP infrastructure. Scaler mode supports 4K resolutions at 4:4:4 up to 4096×2160@60 Hz; bypass mode passes native 4K HDR content at full quality. HDCP 1.4 and 2.2 compliance provides end-to-end content protection for commercial and broadcast deployments. The receiver is powered by an included desktop power supply and features LC Duplex fiber input, HDMI output, USB, RS-232, IR, and Ethernet rear connectors for full AV and control system integration.
