The AMX DXF-TX-MMS is a multi-format DXLink multimode fiber transmitter with simplex connectivity for one-directional HDMI/HDCP and analog multi-format video distribution over OM3 50/125 µm multimode fiber at distances up to 300 m. The simplex design transports video and audio over fiber without a bidirectional control return path — suitable for installations where control is managed through a supplemental network connection or is not required at the remote endpoint. It accepts HDMI/HDCP, RGBHV, Component, S-Video, and Composite sources from the same unit and is compatible with Enova DGX fiber input boards and DXLink multimode fiber receivers.
Product Description
The AMX DXF-TX-MMS is a DXLink multi-format multimode fiber transmitter in simplex configuration, extending audio, video, control, and Ethernet signals from an Enova DGX matrix input board or local source to a DXLink fiber receiver over a single multimode fiber strand. The simplex design uses a single fiber for signal transmission, reducing fiber infrastructure requirements in installations where a dedicated fiber run is available. It is designed for commercial AV systems requiring fiber signal extension beyond the 100-meter limit of twisted pair, in facilities with existing multimode fiber infrastructure.
