Product Overview
The AMX DXF-RX-MMD is a DXLink multimode fiber receiver with duplex connectivity for intra-building AV distribution over OM3 50/125 µm multimode fiber at distances up to 300 m. As a duplex model, it supports bidirectional control transport over fiber — including Ethernet, RS-232, IR, and USB HID return signals — from a compatible DXLink multimode duplex transmitter or Enova DGX fiber output board. It delivers clean HDMI output at the remote display with SmartScale auto-scaling for seamless multi-display compatibility.
Product Description
The AMX DXF-RX-MMD extends audio, video, control, and Ethernet signals over multimode fiber from an Enova DGX matrix or DXLink source to a remote display endpoint. Operating over multimode fiber eliminates electromagnetic interference susceptibility and supports transmission distances beyond the 100-meter twisted pair limit, making it well-suited for large facilities, campus deployments, and secure installations. The receiver connects to the DGX output or input board on one end and to the compatible DXLink endpoint at the remote location, carrying the complete AV signal set over a single fiber connection.
