The AMX DCE-1 is a DXLink in-line control extender that injects and extracts RS-232 and IR control signals on an active DXLink twisted pair cable run, enabling control at intermediate points in DXLink AV distribution systems without a full transmitter/receiver.
Product Description
The AMX DCE-1 is an in-line DXLink control extender that adds AMX NetLinx control capability to a DXLink signal path without requiring a full DGX matrix switcher. It passes audio, video, and Ethernet over the DXLink twisted pair connection while adding bidirectional RS-232 and IR control signal extension, enabling AMX controllers to manage displays and equipment at the remote DXLink endpoint. The DCE-1 is designed for commercial AV installations where DXLink signal transport is combined with control system integration.
