Product Overview
The AMX CE-IO4 is a Universal Control Extender providing 4 digital I/O ports for expanding contact closure input and output capacity in AMX MUSE-controlled systems. It connects over IP and adds digital I/O at the room edge for occupancy sensors, push-button interfaces, door contacts, and other I/O-triggered AV automation without additional cabling to the controller chassis.
Product Description
The AMX CE-IO4 Universal I/O Control Extender adds 4 digital I/O ports to AMX MUSE AV systems via IP — enabling contact closure inputs from occupancy sensors, push-buttons, door contacts, and AV mute triggers, as well as digital outputs for basic switching and signaling, without routing I/O wires back to the controller rack. It is PoE-powered and suited for above-ceiling or furniture mounting near the sensors and buttons being integrated. Most commonly paired with the MU-1000 to add digital I/O capability, or to supplement MU-1300 deployments requiring more than 4 I/O ports without a full controller upgrade.
