Product Overview
The Allied Telesis AT-X530L-28GPX-90 is a TAA-compliant Allied Telesis x530L 24-port PoE+ stackable switch built for enterprise campus access deployments that require both Power over Ethernet and high-speed uplinks. It delivers 24 x 10/100/1000T PoE+ ports with a 740W PoE power budget, plus 4 x 10G SFP+ ports for distribution-layer connectivity, all in a 1U rack-mountable chassis. The -90 suffix denotes the 90W PoE++ per-port capability available on the GHXm models within the series; the 28GPX variant supports up to 30W PoE+ per port across all 24 copper ports with the 740W total budget. Available from Creation Networks, an authorized Allied Telesis reseller.
Product Description
The AT-X530L-28GPX-90 is purpose-built for access-layer deployments where powering IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points, and other PoE-powered endpoints is required alongside full Layer 3 routing. All 24 copper RJ-45 ports support IEEE 802.3at PoE+ at up to 30W per port, with a total PoE budget of 740W sourced through dual fixed AC power supplies. Continuous PoE technology maintains uninterrupted power to connected endpoints even during a switch firmware upgrade, eliminating the need to schedule maintenance windows for software updates. The four 10G SFP+ ports provide high-bandwidth uplinks to distribution or core switches and can alternatively be configured as VCStack stacking ports. VCStack supports up to 8 x530L-series units in a single logical stack, managed as one device. The AT-FL-x53L-MSTK license enables mixed stacking with x530-series switches. AlliedWare Plus delivers the full enterprise feature set, including AMF Plus for zero-touch provisioning, EPSRing and G.8032 ERPS for sub-50ms ring protection, and Active Fiber Monitoring for fiber link security. The switch is TAA compliant, qualifying it for US Government and Department of Defense procurement. FIPS 140-2 certification and JITC listing are available at the series level. Power consumption without PoE load is 70W; under full PoE+ load, maximum system draw reaches 890W requiring adequate PDU capacity.
