Hot-swap capability allows field replacement without powering down the host switch or router.
Description
The AT-SPEX/E operates at 850 nm wavelength and provides 1 Gbps throughput over multimode fiber, making it compatible with most enterprise and industrial Gigabit SFP slots that follow the SFP MSA specification. The TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliance designation makes this transceiver appropriate for US federal government procurement requirements and other TAA-mandated purchasing programs. The extended industrial temperature range (-40°C to +85°C) distinguishes this unit from standard commercial SFPs, which typically operate only between 0°C and 70°C. An LC duplex connector simplifies cable termination and is the most widely used fiber interface in modern network equipment. The 220 m reach on 62.5/125 µm multimode and 550 m on 50/125 µm multimode covers most campus and industrial fiber runs without requiring single-mode infrastructure.
