Product Description
The FS710/8E-60 steps up from the 5-port FS710/5E to provide 8 x 10/100TX ports for slightly larger workgroup or department connectivity needs, while retaining the same economical, eco-friendly, and easy-to-deploy characteristics of the FS710 series. No configuration is required: connect the included external multi-region AC adapter, plug in up to 8 devices, and the switch operates immediately. The fanless chassis produces zero noise, making it suitable for quiet office, library, or hospitality environments. Allied Telesis’ CentreCOM FS710 platform is designed for the cost-conscious buyer who needs reliable Fast Ethernet connectivity without Gigabit overhead. The external PSU keeps the chassis compact at just 1.7" tall, and both desktop and rack-mount installation are supported. EAPOL/BPDU forwarding enables compatibility with upstream 802.1X and Spanning Tree infrastructure, while Layer 2 switching ensures efficient frame handling for connected devices.
