Description

The AT-CM301 operates as a hot-swappable blade module within the AT-CV5001 Converteon chassis, which accommodates up to 18 converter blades in a single 1U rack space. This chassis-based approach centralizes fiber conversion for large deployments, reducing the cable clutter and management overhead of individual standalone converters. Each AT-CM301 blade handles one copper-to-fiber conversion: 10/100BASE-TX on the RJ-45 side to 100BASE-FX multimode on the ST fiber side, at distances up to 2km — appropriate for intra-building and inter-building campus runs.

The ST fiber connector is a dual-ferrule bayonet-style interface common in legacy enterprise and campus fiber plants.
