The Allen & Heath AH-ZED14-RK19 is a rackmount kit for the ZED-12FX, ZED-14, and XB-14-2 analogue mixers. It allows any of these three mixers to be mounted securely in a standard 19-inch equipment rack or flightcase, making it an essential accessory for touring and installed applications where the mixer must be rack-integrated.
Product Description
The ZED-12FX, ZED-14, and XB-14-2 are Allen & Heath analogue mixers in the compact and mid-range categories, and the AH-ZED14-RK19 provides a direct path to integrating any of them into a standard 19-inch rack environment. The kit supplies the side panels and hardware needed to bring the mixer up to the full 19-inch rack width and secure it to the rack rails. Once installed, the mixer is held firmly in position whether the rack is static or in transport in a flightcase. This eliminates the need for improvised shelf mounting or custom fabrication. The kit is the recommended Allen & Heath solution for touring productions, broadcast installations, and fixed AV deployments where these mixers need to be part of a racked system.
