The Allen & Heath AH-DLIVE-DM32-RUFX is a dLive S Class DM32 MixRack supplied with the RackUltra FX card fitted. It combines 32 mic/line preamps and 16 XLR line outputs with three 128-channel I/O ports, redundant links and a hot-swappable power supply, plus 128 input channels, 64 mix outputs and eight RackUltra FX engines. It suits touring, broadcast and large installed systems that want S Class redundancy with local I/O.
How does the Allen & Heath dLive DM32 RackUltra FX MixRack work?
The DM32 runs the XCVI 160x64 FPGA core at 96kHz with variable bit depth, a 96-bit accumulator and 0.7 ms latency, processing 128 inputs and 64 mix outputs over a configurable 64-bus architecture with LR, LCR and up to 5.1 mains, 24 DCAs and an automatic mic mixer of up to 64 channels across 4 zones.
The RackUltra FX card adds 8 RackUltra FX engines with dedicated stereo sends and returns to the 16 RackExtra FX racks. The connection hub provides dual redundant gigaACE links to the surface, two redundant DX links for expansion, three I/O ports at 128 channels and 96kHz each, a dedicated ME-1 port, two network ports and BNC word clock. A dual redundant, hot-swappable power supply allows a PSU to be replaced without powering down, which matters in live broadcast and services that cannot stop.
