The Allen & Heath AH-DLIVE-CDM64-RUFX is a dLive C Class CDM64 MixRack supplied with the RackUltra FX card fitted. It is the highest local I/O count in the C Class range: 64 mic/line preamps and 32 line outputs in an 8U chassis, with 128 input channels, 64 mix outputs and eight RackUltra FX engines. It suits large worship, theatre and event systems that want most stage connections in one rack.
How does the Allen & Heath dLive CDM64 RackUltra FX MixRack work?
The CDM64 runs the XCVI 160x64 FPGA core at 96kHz with variable bit depth, a 96-bit accumulator and 0.7 ms latency, processing 128 inputs and 64 mix outputs over a configurable 64-bus architecture with LR, LCR and up to 5.1 mains, 24 DCAs and an automatic mic mixer of up to 64 channels across 4 zones.
The fitted RackUltra FX card adds 8 RackUltra FX engines with dedicated stereo sends and returns to the 16 RackExtra FX racks, bringing vocal tuning, harmonisers, reverb designers and saturation into the system. A gigaACE link connects the dLive surface, two DX links add expanders, one 128-channel I/O port accepts Dante, MADI and other cards, and a dedicated ME-1 port feeds personal monitoring. With 64 local inputs on board, many productions can run without separate stage boxes, reducing setup time and cabling.
