The Allen & Heath AH-DLIVE-CDM48-RUFX is a dLive C Class CDM48 MixRack supplied with the RackUltra FX card fitted. It is a 7U digital mixing engine with 48 mic/line preamps, 24 line outputs, 128 input channels, 64 mix outputs and eight RackUltra FX engines, suited to mid-size worship, theatre, corporate and live production systems built around a dLive surface.
How does the Allen & Heath dLive CDM48 RackUltra FX MixRack work?
The CDM48 uses the XCVI 160x64 FPGA core at 96kHz with variable bit depth, a 96-bit accumulator and 0.7 ms latency. It handles 128 input channels and 64 mix outputs across a configurable 64-bus architecture, including LR, LCR and up to 5.1 mains, with 24 DCAs and an automatic mic mixer of up to 64 channels across 4 zones.
With the RackUltra FX card fitted, the MixRack provides 8 RackUltra FX engines with dedicated stereo sends and returns in addition to 16 RackExtra FX racks, enabling vocal tuning, harmonisers, reverb designers and saturation. The 48 local preamps cover most stage inputs without a remote box, while a gigaACE link connects the surface, two DX links add expanders, one 128-channel I/O port takes Dante or MADI cards, and a dedicated ME-1 port feeds personal monitoring. The unit has an ultra-quiet fan and reversible rack ears.
