Product Overview
The Allen & Heath AH-CC-10 is a 10.1-inch projected capacitive touch panel designed as a dedicated control interface for Allen & Heath AHM audio matrix processors, dLive, and Avantis systems in permanently installed commercial AV environments. Running the Allen & Heath Custom Control app, the CC-10 presents a fully configurable graphical control interface that allows end users to adjust volume levels, select audio sources, recall presets, and manage zones without any technical audio knowledge. Powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) or a 12V DC adapter, and connecting to the system via standard Gigabit Ethernet, the CC-10 uses a VESA 75x75mm mount pattern and is suitable for both desktop and wall-mount deployment. It is the natural choice for boardrooms, lobbies, conference rooms, and multi-zone audio environments where a clean, intuitive, permanent control point is required.
Product Description
In commercial AV installations using Allen & Heath AHM matrix processors or dLive/Avantis systems, the CC-10 bridges the gap between the technical capability of the audio infrastructure and the non-technical users who need to operate it day-to-day. Rather than requiring users to access the Architect software or a mixing console, the CC-10 provides a purpose-built interface that is configured by the integrator to present only the controls relevant to the specific installation.
The Custom Control app layout is configured using Allen & Heath's web-based Custom Control design tool, allowing system integrators to build pages with volume sliders, source selectors, scene recall buttons, mute controls, and other elements appropriate to the space. Multiple pages can be created for different operating scenarios — for example, a meeting room page, a presentation page, and a quiet mode page — with navigation between them accessible from the touch panel itself.
The 10.1-inch 1280x800 display at 500 nits brightness is readable under typical office and hospitality lighting conditions. The projected capacitive touchscreen provides accurate, responsive input with multi-touch support. PoE powering eliminates the need for a separate power supply run to each panel location, simplifying the cabling infrastructure in multi-panel installations where panels are distributed across a building.
The CC-10 mounts using the 75x75mm VESA pattern, compatible with Allen & Heath's dedicated CC-STN desktop stand and CC-BRK wall bracket (both sold separately). A USB-A port provides the ability to load Custom Control interface updates without connecting to the network configuration interface. The CC-10 has no built-in speakers or wireless connectivity, keeping the device focused on its function as a reliable, deterministic control point rather than a general-purpose display.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Which Allen & Heath systems is the CC-10 compatible with?
- The CC-10 is compatible with Allen & Heath AHM audio matrix processors, dLive mixing systems, and Avantis consoles that support the Custom Control app. Verify firmware compatibility with the specific system version before installation.
- Does the CC-10 require Power over Ethernet, or can it be powered another way?
- The CC-10 can be powered either via PoE from a PoE-capable network switch, or via an included 12V DC power adapter. Either method is appropriate depending on the installation's cabling infrastructure.
- Who configures the Custom Control interface displayed on the CC-10?
- The interface is configured by the system integrator using the Allen & Heath web-based Custom Control design tool. End users interact with the finished layout but cannot modify the underlying configuration without integrator-level access.
- Can multiple CC-10 panels control the same AHM system simultaneously?
- Yes. Multiple CC-10 panels can be connected to the same AHM or dLive system simultaneously, each displaying the same or different page layouts depending on the zone they are assigned to control.
- What mounting accessories are available for the CC-10?
- Allen & Heath offers the CC-STN desktop stand and CC-BRK wall mount bracket, both sold separately. The CC-10 also accepts any standard VESA 75x75mm compatible mount.
- Is the CC-10 suitable for controlling a dLive system in a commercial AV installation?
- Yes. In installed dLive environments, the CC-10 provides a clean, non-technical operator interface for end-user volume control, source selection, and scene recall, without exposing the full dLive mixing console interface.
- Can the CC-10 be used in an outdoor or high-ambient-light environment?
- The 500 nit display is appropriate for typical indoor commercial and hospitality environments. It is not rated for outdoor use or direct sunlight exposure.
