Allen & Heath AH-AVANTIS-ULTRA – Avantis Ultra 96-Channel Digital Mixing Console is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
What is the Allen & Heath Avantis Ultra digital mixing console?
The Allen & Heath Avantis Ultra (AH-AVANTIS-ULTRA) is a 96kHz digital mixing console with twin 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreens, 24 faders, 96 input channels, 56 configurable busses, DEEP processing and eight RackUltra FX engines. It is the full-size Avantis supplied with dPack and the RackUltra FX card already fitted, built for demanding live sound, houses of worship, theatres, broadcast and large corporate AV productions.
How does the Allen & Heath Avantis Ultra work?
Avantis Ultra is built on the XCVI FPGA core running at 96kHz with a 96-bit accumulator and 0.7 ms latency. Every one of the 96 inputs carries LPF/HPF, gate, PEQ, compressor and delay, and the 56 mix outputs carry PEQ, GEQ, compressor and delay. DEEP processing is included, along with 12 RackExtra FX racks and 8 RackUltra FX racks with dedicated sends and returns for vocal tuning, harmonisers, Spaces and Plate reverbs, and saturation.
The surface provides 144 fader strips over 24 faders and 6 layers with an optional dedicated master section, 24 assignable SoftKeys and 6 custom rotaries. Local I/O includes 12 XLR mic/line inputs, 12 XLR line outputs, 1 stereo AES input and 2 stereo AES outputs. Two I/O ports (128x128 at 96kHz) accept Dante, MADI and gigaACE cards, and the SLink EtherCON port connects gigaACE, DX, GX, ME and dSnake stage boxes and monitoring. An automatic mic mixer of up to 64 channels, 16 DCAs with spill, 500 scenes per show, user permissions and two gigabit network ports for Director and MixPad apps round out a console suited to both installed and touring systems.
