The PTZ-X12-IP and PTZ-X20-IP share the same camera body, sensor, and output configuration. The 12x module provides a 72.5-degree horizontal field of view at the wide end, covering more of a room from a given mounting position compared to the 20x module's 61-degree FOV — making the X12-IP the preferred choice for smaller spaces, huddle rooms, and moderate-size conference rooms where full-room coverage is more important than telephoto reach.

The IP output uses H.264 or H.265 compression over RTSP and RTMP, providing broad compatibility with streaming platforms, video management systems, and RTSP-capable production software without requiring an NDI license. H.265 halves the bandwidth requirement compared to H.264 at equivalent quality, relevant in multi-camera installations where aggregate network bandwidth must be managed. Direct RTMP streaming to YouTube Live, Facebook Live, and similar platforms is supported without a separate streaming encoder.
