NDI|HX has become the de facto IP video transport protocol for software-defined production workflows, and the PTZ-NDI-X18B integrates directly into that ecosystem. When connected to a PoE+ switch, the camera is discoverable on the network and available as a source in NDI-compatible software platforms — including NewTek TriCaster, vMix, OBS (with NDI plugin), and Wirecast — without separate power cabling or a dedicated video cable run to the switcher.

The 18x optical zoom lens (5.2mm–93mm, f/1.5–f/3) provides an approximate 60° wide-angle field of view at the shortest focal length that narrows to a tight telephoto angle at maximum zoom. Pan travel is 340° and tilt covers 120°. The 1/3" CMOS sensor delivers Full HD 1080p60. For IP control, 128 presets can be programmed and recalled; the IR remote provides 10 presets for simpler standalone deployments.
