The Adder X200/R-US is an AdderLink X200 USB KVM remote user station that extends a keyboard, VGA display and mouse up to 100m (330ft) from the host over a single CATx cable. As a dual-port USB KVM extender receiver, it accepts links from one or two computer access modules so a single console can control a local and a remote computer, or two remote computers, switched by keyboard hotkeys or mouse. It also operates as the remote user station for AdderView CATx KVM switches, making it a versatile KVM over CAT5 receiver for racked computing environments.

Product Description

The X200/R-US is the standard (non-audio) receiver in Adder's X200 range, built for operator positions where the computers are racked elsewhere for security, noise or environmental reasons. The console side provides USB Type A keyboard and mouse ports and an HDD-15 VGA output, with absolute real-time keyboard and mouse performance over the link.

Two RJ45 link ports form an integrated two-port KVM switch. Individual video brightness and compensation settings are stored per connection, and the X200's 128 steps of signal compensation allow fine picture adjustment matched to each installed cable run. Video is uncompressed VGA at resolutions up to 1600 x 1200, with full DDC emulation so high-performance graphics cards negotiate correctly through the extension.

At the computer end, pair the receiver with Adder CATx computer access modules — USB, PS/2 or Sun variants — or connect it directly to any Adder CATx KVM switch as its extended console. The X200/R variant supports link lengths up to 100m (330ft); audio and de-skew variants (X200A/R and X200AS/R) are available where those capabilities are required.
