Product Description

The X2-Silver pair consists of a local transmitter that connects to the computer via the supplied 25-way cable and a remote receiver providing HD-15 VGA, MiniDin6 PS/2 keyboard and mouse, and a DB9 serial port at the user position. A single CATx run between them carries everything, simplifying pathways through plant floors, machine rooms, and risers.

Video performance is a defining strength: resolutions of 1600 x 1200 are achievable at the full 200m (650ft) reach. The X2 applies a high level of signal compensation with a wide range of smooth, fine adjustments, and the Silver model adds integrated DeSkew with 300MHz bandwidth to counteract the color-channel timing skew inherent in twisted-pair cabling — critical for sharp text on long runs.
