Product Description

In a multi-extender equipment room, individual plug-top power adapters quickly consume outlet capacity and complicate cable management. The X2-PDM4-US addresses this by accepting a single power feed and distributing 5 VDC at up to 1 A across four right-side-mounted 2.5 mm center-positive barrel jack outputs, each dedicated to one AdderLink X2-SILVER or X2-GOLD unit.

The US version ships with a power adaptor that connects to utility power through a detachable cord and IEC 320 inlet, accepting 100 to 240 VAC at 50 to 60 Hz. A left-side 2.5 mm barrel jack receives the adapter feed, and a right-side LED confirms power status at a glance during rack inspections. The steel and stainless steel enclosure measures just 1 inch high by 4.7 inches wide, so it occupies minimal space in a chassis or equipment shelf. Power consumption is low — a maximum of 2.5 watts by the supply plus 2.5 watts by each receiver it powers — and the module tolerates operating temperatures from 32 to 104°F and altitudes up to 10,000 feet.
