Product Overview
The Adder X100/R-US is an AdderLink X100 PS/2 KVM remote user station that extends a PS/2 keyboard, mouse and VGA display up to 100m (330ft) from the host computer over a single CATx cable. As a PS/2 KVM extender receiver over CAT5, it serves desks and operator positions where the computer is racked in another room for security, acoustics or environment control. It is a dependable VGA KVM extension receiver for legacy consoles that remain in active service across industrial and infrastructure installations.
Product Description
The X100/R-US is the keyboard-video-mouse receiver of the X100 family, presenting MiniDIN-6 (PS/2) keyboard and mouse ports plus an HDD15 VGA output at the user position. The link back to the computer end runs over standard Category 5, 5e, 6 or 7 unshielded twisted pair, so existing structured cabling is typically all that is needed.

Per the vendor specification, the X100 series supports a maximum extension distance of 100m (330ft), with resolutions of 1600 x 1200 achievable at the full distance and 1900 x 1440 up to 50m (165ft). Receiver-side signal compensation provides smooth, fine adjustment for cable losses, and built-in brightness correction keeps the displayed image crisp and bright at long runs.

Full DDC emulation allows high-performance graphics cards to operate at high resolutions through the link, and the hardware-based design is independent of operating system — Windows, Linux, Unix, Solaris, Mac OS and others are all supported. The compact all-metal receiver measures 123 x 74 x 26mm and powers from the included universal-input supply with US lead.

Pair the receiver with the appropriate X100 computer access module at the host, or browse the full Adder Technology collection at Creation Networks for switches, extenders and accessories.
