Product Overview
The Adder VSC48 is a 2-meter locking power cable that connects ADDER RED-PSU PRO series redundant power supplies to compatible Adder devices, including ADDERLink XD series extenders, ADDERLink 4000/2100 series units, and the ADDER CCS-PRO range. The locking connector keeps the 12V power feed mechanically secured, so rack work and cable movement cannot interrupt power to KVM extension and switching hardware. It is the factory power extension cable for distributing redundant power from a centralized RED-PSU PRO to devices around the rack.
Product Description
Redundant power only delivers its promise if the last meter of cabling is as dependable as the supply itself. The VSC48 closes that gap: its locking connector engages positively with the power inlet on compatible Adder hardware, preventing the accidental disconnections that friction-fit barrel plugs are prone to in dense racks.
At 2 meters, the cable gives installers practical reach from a centrally mounted RED-PSU PRO to extenders and switches positioned elsewhere in the rack or at adjacent operator positions. Adder specifies the VSC48 for powering ADDERLink XD series extenders, ADDERLink 4000 and 2100 series units, and CCS-PRO command and control switches from the RED-PSU PRO platform, making it the correct part when expanding a redundant-power deployment or replacing a damaged lead.
