Product Overview
The Adder VSC29 is a 5-meter USB cable with a Type A connector on one end and a Type B connector on the other, used to connect host computers to Adder KVM switches such as the AdderView AV4PRO series. As a manufacturer-supplied USB A to B cable, it gives integrators a known-good link for the USB data path between each computer and the switch, at a length that reaches machines positioned away from the switch location. It is the standard choice when standard-length KVM cable kits fall short.
Product Description
In a multi-computer KVM installation, each connected machine needs its own USB link back to the switch — and the computers are rarely all within arm's reach of the rack. The VSC29's 5-meter run covers under-desk towers, equipment in adjacent bays, and machines across the room, without resorting to extension couplers that introduce extra connection points.
The Type A end plugs into the computer's USB port; the Type B end connects to the corresponding computer port on the KVM switch. Adder lists the VSC29 as a companion accessory for its AV4PRO-VGA series switches, and the same A-to-B format serves other Adder equipment with Type B USB inputs.
