Every PS/2-era KVM connection needs three lines — video, keyboard, and mouse — and at rack scale that triples the cable count, the failure points, and the time spent tracing runs. The VKVM-5M consolidates all three into one high-quality combo cable terminated male-to-male: an HD15 VGA connector for video and two 6-pin Mini-DIN PS/2 connectors for keyboard and mouse at each end. The video conductors use a tri-coax construction, dedicating shielded coaxial elements to the analog RGB signals to maintain image quality over the 5m distance, while DDC support allows display identification data to pass between computer and console. Connectors are color-coded to PC99 conventions so installers can match ports correctly at a glance, even in dim rack environments.
