The Adder RMK12-RS rear support brackets anchor the back edge of Adder RMK12, RMK15 and RMK17 rackmount trays inside 19-inch racks between 600mm and 800mm deep. For data center and control room installers, these KVM rackmount rear support arms add a second fixing point so loaded trays carrying ADDERLink extender and receiver units stay level and secure over time. They are the recommended rack depth accessory whenever an Adder rackmount kit is installed in a four-post enclosure.
Product Description
Adder's RMK12, RMK15 and RMK17 kits are 19-inch 1U trays that mount ADDERLink INFINITY and XD-series units, with shelf space for power supplies and cable management. Mounted by the front flanges alone, a populated tray cantilevers its full weight — units, PSUs and cabling — from two rack posts. The RMK12-RS rear support brackets resolve this by tying the rear of the tray to the back posts of the rack, distributing the load across four fixing points. The brackets accommodate 19-inch racks from 600mm to 800mm deep, covering the most common four-post server and AV enclosure depths. This matters in installations subject to vibration, frequent recabling at the rear of the rack, or simply long service life, where front-only mounting can allow sag and stress on the tray flanges. Installation uses standard rack hardware at the rear posts and the mounting points on the compatible Adder trays. One set supports a single tray; order one RMK12-RS per RMK12, RMK15 or RMK17 kit installed in a deep rack.
