This Adder rackmount kit consists of brackets that fasten to the switch chassis, allowing the unit to be secured at any rack position alongside servers and network gear. For installations moving an AdderView KVM switch off the desktop and into the cabinet, the RMK1 rack mount bracket kit is the manufacturer's designated mounting hardware.
Product Description
Desktop placement is fine for evaluation, but production KVM switches belong in the rack where they are powered, cabled, and physically secured with the rest of the infrastructure. The RMK1 provides the 1U-high mounting brackets Adder specifies for its compatible AdderView and SmartView series switches, including use as replacement rack mount brackets for SmartView 4PRO and 8PRO products per Adder's documentation.
The brackets attach to the sides of the switch chassis and present standard 19-inch rack ears, so the unit installs with ordinary cage nuts and rack screws.
