The ADDERLink ipeps mini DP attaches to the full-size DisplayPort 1.1 (dual mode) output and two USB 2.0 ports of the computer to be managed, then publishes that machine on a 1GbE network for authorized remote users. Because control happens at the hardware level, administrators keep full access during boot-up, BIOS configuration, and crash states — situations where software remote-desktop tools fail. Up to eight remote users can connect simultaneously, governed by up to 16 user profiles with defined access rights.

Every session is protected by AES 128 or 256-bit encryption with RSA 2048-bit public key authentication, making the unit appropriate for regulated government, finance, and healthcare networks. The 55 x 25 x 110 mm ABS and aluminium enclosure can be powered directly from two USB ports on the host computer or from an optional external 5VDC supply, so it installs cleanly behind rack equipment, inside credenzas, or at unmanned sites.
