Traditional KVM switches tether every server to the switch with bulky three-headed cables. The AVX1008 replaces those with single CATx runs to compact Computer Access Modules (CAMs) at each server, available for USB, PS/2 and Sun keyboard/mouse interfaces with optional audio.
