Product Overview
The Adder AVM-C1100-USR-US is a single-head user station for the AdderView Matrix C1000 Series, delivering DisplayPort video up to 2560x1600 @ 60Hz, USB 2.0 and audio to an operator desk over a single CATx cable. As a KVM matrix user station, it extends the console away from the computer equipment while acting as the master controller of its own matrix, with up to 16 sources programmed into its target list. For control rooms and production facilities, this AdderView Matrix remote access module switches between computers in under one second over standard 1GbE infrastructure.
Product Description
The AVM-C1100-USR sits at the user position and connects the desk — a DisplayPort monitor, four USB 2.0 devices and audio — back to AdderView Matrix Computer Access Modules (CAMs) installed at each source machine. Each user station manages its own switching: operators select targets through an on-screen display (OSD) or keyboard hotkeys, with channel changes completing in less than a second for an uninterrupted working experience.

Adder's spatially-lossless encoding with 1:1 pixel mapping reproduces the remote computer's video pixel-perfectly, supporting 2560x1600 @ 60Hz and 1920x1200 at up to 120Hz for fast-motion monitoring. The system scales naturally: a single CAM can be shared by up to 256 user stations, enabling genuine collaboration where multiple users view and operate the same resource simultaneously.

Connectivity comprises a 1GbE RJ45 link port plus an SFP cage for fiber transceivers, removing the 100m copper limit on long campus runs. USB 2.0 with class control supports tablets, jog shuttles, joysticks, card readers and storage, with device-type policies replacing physical port blocking. A RESTful API over HTTPS (OpenAPI 3.1.0) allows third-party controllers — including the Elgato Stream Deck or Studio — to drive switching remotely. Intelligent EDID management, zero-config deployment and a fanless chassis round out a station built for long shifts. Pair with AdderView Matrix CAMs and accessories from the Adder Technology collection at Creation Networks.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does the AVM-C1100-USR connect to?
It links over 1GbE CATx or fiber to AdderView Matrix Computer Access Modules (CAMs) attached to each source computer. Creation Networks can help you specify CAMs for your machines.
Does it need a separate matrix manager?
No. Each user station is the master controller of its own matrix and can hold up to 16 sources in its target list, switched from the OSD or by hotkeys.
Can several operators share one computer?
Yes. A single CAM supports connection from up to 256 user stations, so different users can share a resource at the same time.
Can switching be automated from a control system?
Yes. The RESTful HTTPS API (OpenAPI 3.1.0) works with third-party controllers including the Elgato Stream Deck and Studio.
What display connection does the desk use?
A full-size DisplayPort output drives the console monitor at up to 2560x1600 @ 60Hz, with intelligent EDID management passing display characteristics back to the source.
Is a PoE-powered version available?
Adder lists the AVM-C1100-USR-POE variant with a PoE splitter; contact Creation Networks for availability and ordering.
