The Adder ALAV104T-US is an AdderLink AV104 4-way digital signage transmitter that distributes a single VGA video and stereo audio source to up to four receivers over CATx cable at distances up to 300m (1000ft). Product Description

The AV104 transmitter connects to the source computer's VGA and 3.5mm audio outputs and provides four RJ45 link ports, each feeding an AdderLink AV receiver over Category 5 or higher twisted pair cable. With a single receiver on a link, the cable may run up to 300m (1000ft), and each AV101 receiver drives two display-and-speaker sets — so one AV104 can directly feed up to eight remote screens.

Resolution scales with distance: 1600 x 1200 at 60Hz is achievable at 200m, and 1280 x 1024 at 60Hz at the full 300m. Local video and audio output ports on the transmitter can drive a monitor and speakers beside the source, or cascade into a further AV104 transmitter for larger systems — up to three cascade connections per branch, with vendor-documented derating of total link length as cascades are added.

The transmitter automatically clones DDC data from a monitor on its local port and presents it to the source computer, so graphics outputs configure correctly even in multi-display distribution. Two pages of DDC data are stored in non-volatile memory.
