An AIM server ships licensed for 24 endpoints, and AIMLIC licenses expand capacity through fixed tiers of 48, 96, 192, 288, and unlimited endpoints. The UPG family of licenses moves an existing installation between tiers: the AIMLIC-UPG-192-288 applies to a primary AIM server already licensed for 192 endpoints and raises its ceiling to 288. Note that UPG licenses cover the primary server only; backup AIM servers require the corresponding -BCK license products.
