The Sonance VX4 FlexFrame is the mounting frame component of the Visual Experience VX4 speaker platform, built for two-stage installation. It is intended for integrators managing large-scale or multi-phase projects where the frame needs to be set early and the driver module added later.
Product Description
The FlexFrame system is central to how Sonance designed the Visual Experience Series for flexible job-site sequencing. On the VX4 platform, the FlexFrame is installed first, protecting and defining the speaker opening through drywall, texture, and paint, while the driver module is added afterward once finish work is complete. This decoupled, two-stage process simplifies installation on jobs where the ceiling or wall trade and the AV installation trade are not on site at the same time, which is common on larger commercial builds and phased residential construction. Integrators standardizing on the VX4 platform across a project can pair this frame with the matching VX42 or VX46 in-wall speaker module once the room is ready for final installation.
